Authorization support for S4 HANA is evolving. We now need Fiori front end role with defined catalogs and groups in addition to the backend role in SAP which contains the transactions and restrictions. Business Users however are going for Fiori directly to access and perform thier tasks. The Business users are now comparing or looking at which Apps they have access to and which not. They are now raising tickets mentioning which Apps are needed. The language has shifted from transactions to Apps now
Hence the SWAMI digital assistant can now be used to request to directly request for the Fiori App that the user needs and the assistant will be able to map automatically the needed Fiori role and the backend S4 HANA core role. This greatly simplifies user experience for Access Management in SAP S4 HANA.
